Training Workshop-50 hour Thai Massage Intensive
 Learn a thorough practice of Thai massage. This in-depth course is designed to bring you proficiency and skill in the practice of this ancient art. The class is for both beginners and for those wanting to advance or hone their skills. Those wishing to further their knowledge and experience of Thai massage will find this course enriching.
Techniques in four positions focus on deep muscle and joint stretching, precise body mechanics applied with timed breadth releases. Included in the training are basic philosophies of Ayurvedic healing arts, knowledge of the Meridian lines and leverage application to insure the safety of both the practitioner and client. A typical session lasts 2 hours. Manuals given with the classes. Certificates issued upon completion of the course.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Thai Table Stretching Class-7 hours
This class is designed to use within any modality of massage you are presently using. It stems from Tradtional Thai Massage, but is altered for the table. Stretching techniques are taught in a functional sequence in supine, prone and side lying positions.
3 Day Intensive-Part I
This class is designed for those wanting to give a Traditional Thai Massage without learning a large inventory of techniques. You will learn enough stretching techniques along with the meridians or the arms and legs to give a great 1.5 or 2 hour massage. Of course if you want I will teach you how to give a 1 hour session as well. The massage will be given in the Supine and Prone (Front/Back) positions.
3 Day Intensive-Part II
This class will give you additional techniques to use in your Thai Massage. The class will focus on additional Front position techniques as well as Side Lying and Sitting. If you feel at some point you want to know more...this is the class for you. Manuals given.

1 Day Thai Herbal Poultice Class
Monday June 30 or Tuesday July 1
This is a Thai treatment given on a table using an organic Herbal poultice for the purpose of relaxing muscles and giving anti inflammatory responses. Incorporated in this class are meridians, stretches and myofacial strokes using a Peppermint.Mandarin Orange oil to further relax muscles.
Classes will be held at the Four Seasons Resort in Wailea from 8:30 AM till 5:30 PM
8 C.E.U's are given with this class. Cost $130 for the day...includes handout, Organic Thai Herbal Poultice, 1 oz Peppermint/Mandarin Orange oil.
