It is an aide to the body as an anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, soothes muscle aches & pains, increases circulation, encourages lymphatic drainage and is a tonic (tightens weak connective tissue and strengthens blood vessels). It has many medicinal quality organic herbs: dried lemongrass, dried turmeric, dried Thai ginger, dried camphor, dried tamarind leaves and menthol. It is steamed to release the healing properties of the herbs. You can use the Peppermint/Mandarin Orange oil after using the poultice to make a massage treatment complete. Holly Oil
Holly oil is made in Alberta, Canada since 1993. This unique massage oil was developed to create a clear, non-staining, pure oil with unlimited shelf life. Holly oil is cold pressed from the branches of the holly plant and is then de-ionized. A water based Vitamen E (Cyclo-Alocaine) is then added along with Jojoba as a therapeutic moisturizer to add glide. The oil has a very light viscosity, allowing you to use alot less. The oil is unscented and a non-staining oil that will not cause allergic reactions as it is not a nut oil. It is a perfect carrier oil for essential oils and can be stored on a shelf even after opening. Needs no refrigeration after opening. Holly oil will not clog pores or leave an oily residue on the client. It will be absorbed by the body with no ill effects.
